Unless you are a non-EEA family member who has not previously been issued with a biometric residence card, the Home Office will not issue physical proof of your status. To prove your immigration status in the UK, you will need to log into your online UKVI account<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n This can be done by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n After you\u2019ve inputted these details, you will receive a one-time six-digit access code to your phone or email address. Once you enter it, you\u2019ll be able to access your profile and view your Pre-Settled or Settled status. You\u2019ll also be able to select \u2018Prove your status to someone\u2019. This will send you a share code that you can use to prove your status to third parties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Please note: you can only access this service if you have a UKVI account. You\u2019ll have one if you applied to the EU Settlement Scheme or applied for a visa and used the UK Immigration: ID Check app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n You will not have a UKVI account if you went to a Visa Application Centre (VAC) or Service Support Centre (SSC). If this is the case, you can prove your right to work<\/a> to an employer and prove your right to rent<\/a> to a landlord using different services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n As well as viewing and proving your UK immigration status, you can also use your UKVI account to update your personal details.
